For my finals, i were to make a character of my own to be used in a game. With a polycount budget of 40000. From concept to finished textured model. For a while now ive been interested in The Cthulhu Mythos. Bloodborne introduced me to it. So i wanted to make a creature for myself inspired by the two works. From Bloodborne i looked at Moon Presence, Ebrietas and Mother Kos. But i also took inspiration by others peoples artwork interpretations of the Cthulhu Mythos. Like Sadan Vagues & erkanerturks Nyarlathotep and Cthulhu by (Russels Guide). On top of that i used real life references of octopi/squid and fish.
Alot of work went into this model, and i still feel theres alot i couldve have done better. If only i had more time. Still i like how it turned out.
